Origins: Born June 9, 1953, Bartlesville, OK as Beverly Sue Hardin. My father, William Joseph Hardin, the third American Board Certified Orthodontist in Oklahoma, continues to inspire my work ethic. Mom’s joy, love of art and social skills helped build the family brand through church work, community volunteer organizations and entertaining special projects as well as designing significant culturally rich vacations. Big Brother, Steve Hardin, seven years older, contributed extensively to my ability to experience life from a place of heart. (Many of his original songs are available on YouTube.) My maternal grandmother taught me how to sip tea. My paternal grandmother taught me to be fearless.

Highlights growing up: Horse training and riding, (English seat), cheerleading, piano lessons, concert choir, Nature, new-age ideas / contemporary culture, writing poetry, playing string instruments, performing in folk group at high school assemblies. Graduated College High School 1971.

Graduated from University of Tulsa, 1978; Telecommunications major, Art minor. Wrote art reviews for “The Collegian,” TU newspaper.

The Big Apple: Career opportunities, jazz music and art compelled me to move to New York City, 1982.

Publishing: Managing Editor, Racquet Quarterly, a glossy racket sports magazine supplemented by T. Boone Pickens for his nephew Kevin, the publisher. I established a new revenue section featuring resorts that I hired established writers to visit and review. Advertising sales supported this section.
Media: Contract Supervisor, Robert Serra Associates, Inc., a media buying agency representing The Cabbage Patch Dolls.
Marketing: Vice President Product Development, American Marketing Network, Inc. Fortune 100 clients.
Publicity Director, Copy and Concepts, “The One,” a novel featuring anthropological intrigue in the mountains of Sangre de Cristo Mountains of New Mexico. (I set up book signings, radio and TV appearances and meetings with film producers to discuss sale of film rights.)

Fashion Design: Fashion Institute of Technology coursework. Contract and Freelance knitwear design with these houses: Ralph Lauren, Jennifer Reed, Pierre Cardin, Victoria Jones, Tricot St. Raphael, Holiday Togs and Baby Togs. Independent projects with my label, “Think Pink, Inc.” I redirected my career focus soon after 9/11.

Brooklyn College Graduate School of Education. After completing my internship I relocated to Stillwater, OK. Master of Science in Education (Art Emphasis) 2007. Highlights, Phi Kappa Phi, international honors society and Kappa Delta Pi, international education honor’s society, Lambda Chapter President. 501c3: Executive board, Stillwater Art Guild & TAG, The Arts Groups, an OKC consortium of art organizations, interim TAG president and created blog to connect our 600 central and northeast Oklahoma TAG members.

Teaching: Certifications included: Journalism, Art, Secondary English, Elementary and Pre-K. Teaching assignments in all these curriculum areas in urban and rural Oklahoma schools.

Oklahoma insurance license, 2015. Began working with Rob Wheeler at the threshold of his partnership with the Ozments. Intensive training in Annuities in Riverside, CA. and in Las Vegas, NV. Weekly conference call workshops.
Medicare AHIP certification 2016.  Affiliated with Bob Archer’s Classic Insurance Agency, Inc. (CIA).
Medicare Supplement Store in Promenade Mall Open seven days a week, staffed by licensed & Medicare certified agents with hundreds of years of insurance industry experience among us; 140 CIA, Inc. affiliated agents working in three states.

HeartSongs: Lucky Joe, 3 year old Yorkie, nicknamed Coach; writing poetry and fiction; playing guitar, Ballet Barre classes, vegetable and flower gardening, meditation walks, audio books (a new delight), reading, movies, jazz music and good conversations with friends and family.

Surprise! Experiencing the fellowship of sorority for the first time when my mother received her 75 year membership pin, I began joining these ladies for monthly lunches and studying for the exam based on the history, mission and philanthropies of Alpha Chi Omega. On September 9th I was initiated.
